Lean into & Learn from Rejection
I’ve dealt with rejection my entire life; it sucks, but I’ve learned to lean into it and learn from it over time. Rejection can make us better while opening our eyes to potential gaps in our skillset. I believe it is important to give yourself grace after being rejected, but then to dust yourself off and get back to chasing your goals.
Set Big Goals & Remember To Show Up For Them
The goal was to have a salary of over $100,000 by the age of 25. I knew that this was an aggressive goal, but I wanted to push myself. I had to be disciplined, motivated, and a continuous learner.
You May Lose Me, But I Won’t Lose Myself
I never lost myself or my dreams that I am still chasing. I found a partner and friends that have helped me in pursuing my goals. Along this journey, I have lost some friends who failed to be reliable, which is ok. I have even lost some friends and recently reconnected over lost time. I believe it is essential for us to truly understand who we are as individuals and who we want to be.

Being nice and having positive energy is a choice I make every day of my life. Try shifting your negative thoughts and becoming a positive impact on someone’s day. You never know who will be helping. As a reminder, just. Be. nice.
